A juicy and full mid-palate, rich, mouth-coating tannins and excellent depth.; • Argento Malbec (Mendoza, Argentina) $55; Deep dark violet in color and offers powerful aromas of blackstone fruit and notes of chocolate. Blackberry and black currant fruit is complimented with a touch of sweet spice and leads into a lingering finish with ripe velvety tannins.; • Francis Ford Coppola Diamind “Claret” (California) $65; Claret is a term originally coined by the British to describe Cabernet-based wines. This Cabernet, Merlot, Cabernet Franc. Petit Verdot and Malbec blend is alluring and sophisticated; it is memorably lush with a tapestry of smooth tannins and succulent flavors of wild berries, plum and anise.; • Chateau Maris Syrah (Languedoc-Rousillon, France) $60; Biodynamic.
